David Achord is an experienced California attorney whose professional career spans more than 20 years. During that time, he has worked to provide clients with knowledgeable, attentive and results-oriented legal representation, contributing to recoveries exceeding $100 million.
David earned his law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law and passed the California Bar Examination on his first attempt. During his graduating year, UC Davis recorded the highest bar passage rate among California law schools. His educational background helped establish the foundation for a long-term legal career centered on preparation, strategic thinking and client advocacy.
Beyond his law practice, David is actively developing two charitable initiatives. Shoes for Kids, featured at ShoesForKids.fyi, is focused on supplying shoes to children in underserved communities. David has already personally funded and delivered 500 pairs of shoes to children in Africa. He is continuing to develop the organization and its online presence.
David is also working on Water for Life, featured at WaterForLife.fyi. The initiative is intended to purchase and ship water filtration systems to communities that rely on contaminated rivers and lakes. According to the project’s mission, each system can last up to ten years and may provide clean drinking water for an entire village. David plans to pursue formal nonprofit status for the project.
His interests extend well beyond law and philanthropy. David has spent more than eight years actively trading and researching cryptocurrency. He has played drums for approximately 20 years, enjoys rock and metal music, is teaching himself guitar by ear and loves singing karaoke with his deep bass voice.
David is also an avid fisherman, foodie, traveler, car enthusiast and lifelong boxer dog owner. Together, these interests present a well-rounded portrait of an attorney committed to professional achievement, personal growth and community service.
